Leslie & John - First Couple Session!!

After not seeing my sister for 10 months, she and her hubby finally were able to visit a few weekends ago and while they were still here, I jumped at the opportunity to do my first-ever couple session! I don’t think we could have possibly picked a windier day for a photoshoot but these two were so photogenic that it hardly mattered.

Before we headed out to the cornfields behind our house, I stuffed some hand warmers in our pockets, promised everyone hot chocolate afterward, and prayed that my hands wouldn’t freeze up on my camera.

FUN FACT: I cut a tendon in my pinkie finger carving pumpkins late last fall, which now causes my right hand to stiffen up in the cold (shoutout to my old roomie for speedily taking me to the ER and helping with the dishes for 4 months afterward).

Anyway, as much as I love Wisconsin, I am NOT ready for winter to be here quite yet–I love the kaleidoscope of fall colors and I prefer non-negative temperatures…I’m a sucker for summer, guilty as charged.

Luckily enough, we didn't freeze and only suffered slightly runny noses. The photos turned out to be super cute, so I’m gonna stop talking about the impending doom of winter and let you just check out my favorites from the shoot!
